Alexander Walker (b.1991) is a freelance photojournalist based in London, UK.
He graduated with a First Class honours degree in photojournalism from Falmouth University.
Alex’s recent assignments have included him looking into woman’s rights in the tea industry in Kerala, India, but also the troubles faced by young people in Kosovo with its high youth unemployment. As well as this he has recently worked for UK based charity Comic Relief as their in house photographer working on a variety of assignments from celebrity shoots to reportage stories.
His work as a photojournalist has taken him to a wide range of countries where he gained a respectful understanding of their cultures and traditions which he always endeavours to incorporate into his work. Specialising in social documentary and reportage, along with commercial and editorial assignments, he firmly believes in the power of the image and its ability to convey great emotion, power but more importantly have a lasting impact.
